Biography
Andrea J. Sullivan is the Director of the Concord University Upward Bound program. Currently a doctoral candidate in Leadership Studies, she is set to complete her Ed.D. through Marshall University. She has over two decades of experience in education, including her recent role as Principal at Beckley Elementary School. She has taught for both public and private institutions, demonstrating her commitment to student success and educational excellence. Additionally, she has served as a mentor with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, supporting educators in Southern West Virginia. Trained in behavior and trauma techniques she is passionate about empowering students and fostering leadership in education. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys hiking, creating and spending time with her family.
