Biography

I have worked in the field of social work since 1988.  My employment at Concord University began with a federally funded TRiO Program known as Student Support Services in April 2004.  Prior to this, I had taught as an adjunct faculty member for Concord College for several years.  I was promoted to full-time faculty in August 2019.  I earned both my Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement and my Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice at Bluefield State College in 1988.  My MSW Degree was earned in May 1998 from West Virginia University.  I am working on completing my Ph.D. in Social Work.  As a member of the Mountain Lion Family, I truly enjoy working with the “next generation” of social workers.  The students in the MSW are unique and a joy to work with.
