Dr. Santina St. John

Biography

Santina is a 1977 graduate of Big Creek High School and received a B.S. degree in Education from Concord College in 1981. She earned Master’s degrees in Education and Psychology from Fayetteville State University and Marshall University. She also completed Educational Specialist degrees in School Psychology and Educational Administration from Marshall University, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University. Her educational career in the public schools included serving as a teacher, school psychologist, dean of students, and principal. Her career in education was completed by serving as a faculty member at Concord University in the Education department, with a focus on the Master’s degree program in Educational Leadership, providing teachers in the area and surrounding states with the opportunity to obtain a graduate degree in School Administration while continuing to teach in the school system.

Santina is married to Fred St. John and has two daughters and four grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, cooking, playing piano/organ at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and gardening. She continues to recruit students to attend Concord University at every opportunity, where her family has attended college for five generations.
