CONCORD UNIVERSITY RECEIVES DONATION FROM TRUIST FOUNDATION

ATHENS, WV – Representatives from the Truist Foundation presented Concord University with a donation of $7,500 in support of the Pathways Retention Scholarship Fund. This fund awards fifty $2,000 scholarships each year to West Virginia residents facing financial need that could force them to withdraw from Concord.

Truist’s purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities by partnering with nonprofit organizations to help them innovate and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.

Anna Hardy, Chief Student Affairs Officer & Dean of Students, says of the award, “On behalf of Concord University and our students, I extend our deepest gratitude to Truist for their generous donation to the Pathways Retention Scholarship Fund. This donation plays a crucial role in helping our students continue their education and achieve their academic goals. I would like to thank Truist for making a significant difference in the lives of our students and our community.”
