CONCORD UNIVERSITY HOSTS 6TH ANNUAL PRESIDENT’S BALL – MOONLIT MASQUERADE
ATHENS, WV – The public is invited to a Moonlit Masquerade Ball to celebrate the founding of Concord University on Saturday, February 24th from 6:30-9:30 PM in the Jean & Jerry L. Beasley Student Center in the Ballroom on the third floor. This event is being hosted by the Concord University Foundation. Proceeds from this event will support the Concord Fund.
As this is a masquerade ball, guests are encouraged to dress in formal attire with a touch of mystery and intrigue. Masks are welcome. (Full face masks are not acceptable for this event; however, hand-held full-face masks are acceptable). Black tie or evening gowns are appropriate, but feel free to be creative with your mask and accessories to add some flair to your ensemble.
VIP admission tickets are $40 for community members, and $30 for students, faculty, and staff. This includes full access to the event, including heavy hors d’oeuvres, entertainment by Performance DJ Nick Scott, unlimited access to the professional photobooth, multiple photo ops, and cash bar*. VIP admission ticketholders will receive a wrist band for access to the hors d’oeuvres stations. VIP tickets must be purchased online, in advance of the event.
General admission tickets are $20 for community members, Concord faculty and staff, and $10 for students. Ticketholders at this level will enjoy entertainment by Performance DJ Nick Scott, unlimited access to the professional photobooth, multiple photo ops, and cash bar*. General admission tickets may be purchased at the door, but advance purchase is highly recommended.
Nick Scott embarked on his entertainment journey in September 2002. As a radio personality, Nick’s dynamic presence has graced the airwaves of some notable radio stations, and he has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Earth Wind & Fire, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Flo Rida, Salt-N-Pepa, and others. Nick Scott’s remarkable career is a testament to his unwavering dedication to music and entertainment, and his diverse experiences have solidified his place as a versatile and influential figure in the industry.

* PLEASE NOTE: The cash bar will not accept credit or debit cards. However, there is an ATM located on the bottom floor of the Student Center. Guests should be prepared to show identification upon request.
