The R.T. Hill Spatial Analysis Lab, located in 124 Marsh Hall, includes 15 fully equipped and networked digital workstations for computer cartography, spatial analysis, and data analytics. ESRI’s ArcGIS is used to teach and perform research in these areas. Supplementary lab software includes multiple packages for statistical analysis, Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft suite of office software. These resources are used in multiple geography and geology courses, providing opportunities for students to gain the computer and analysis skills that help launch successful careers in the geosciences and allied social sciences.
