Who can attend the President’s Ball?

The President’s Ball is open to students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of Concord!

Where is the event held?

The event is held on Concord University’s campus in the Jean & Jerry Beasley Student Center in the Ballroom on the third floor. Upon entrance to the building, take the stairs up to the next floor, where the Ballroom is located.

Will I need a physical ticket to attend?

No. Once you have registered and paid online, your registration is recorded on our guest list. There will be a check-in table at the event where your name will be checked off the list for admittance into the event.

What is the entertainment for the evening?

Award-winning performance DJ Nick Scott will be creating a unique high-energy atmosphere for this year’s President’s Ball. He has opened for or in support of artists such as Flo Rida, Salt N Pepa, Earth Wind & Fire, Blake Shelton, and more. He’s a syndicated Mix-Show DJ featured globally on various SiriusXM channels.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

VIP Admission ticket option – no, this ticket option must be reserved online in advance.

General Admission option – yes, you may purchase these tickets at the door, but we highly encourage guests to purchase in advance.

What is included in my ticket?

For VIP Ticketholders: Full access to the event. Enjoy access to heavy hors d’oeuvres, the entertainment portion of the evening featuring Performance DJ Nick Scott, unlimited access to the professional photo booth, and cash bar.

For Entertainment ticketholders: Enjoy the entertainment portion of the evening featuring Performance DJ Nick Scott, unlimited access to the professional photobooth, and cash bar.

What is the dress code for the event?

We recommend a little Las Vegas flair—think tuxedos, suits, evening gowns, and cocktail dresses inspired by classic Vegas glamour. Guests are encouraged to incorporate stylish touches like metallics, sequins, bold colors, or vintage casino-era elegance while keeping the overall look polished and upscale. Have fun with your outfits, keep in mind this is a formal event.

Is the cash bar cash only?

Yes. The cash bar will not accept credit or debit cards. However, there is an ATM located on the bottom floor of the Student Center.

Access to the heavy hors d’oeuvres is exclusive to VIP guests. Offerings include:
