Students should seek external (or private) scholarship opportunities provided by outside organizations. Students can check with local businesses, organizations, churches, libraries, and high school counselors for local scholarships from their area. Students must notify the Financial Aid Office of any external/private scholarships they will receive. Please provide a copy of the notification of the scholarship and the annual amount of the scholarship. Scholarship checks should be made payable to Concord University. Please ensure the scholarship provider has the student’s Concord ID #. If the check is made payable to both the student and Concord, the student must sign the back of the check before it can be applied to the student account.
