The Concord Fund

The Concord Fund

The foundation of giving at Concord University invites alumni and friends of the university to come together to support the institution in a capacity that fits their desire to give. The Concord Fund, previously known as the Annual Fund, provides the groundwork for donors to get involved with philanthropic giving at Concord. Every amount donated to The Concord Fund whether it be $10 or $5,000 directly impacts the campus community and the future of the institution. Focusing on key areas such as access and affordability, campus projects and infrastructure, and the area of greatest need, donors have the option to choose what area they will impact.

Area of Greatest Need

Contributions to the area of greatest need will be utilized for the university’s most urgent needs and opportunities identified by the President.

Access & Affordability

With 98% of our students receiving some form of financial aid, Concord remains the most generous public institution in West Virginia. Giving in this area further supports the efforts of providing additional scholarship support for students at Concord.

Campus Projects

There are several different areas on campus that have benefitted in years past through donor support in annual giving. Campus projects continue to be one area that allows for enhanced opportunities for campus development. In years past, giving in this area has supported Ballroom renovation, program equipment for Broadcast Meteorology, and more.
